The Tanlouka Project, located in Burkina Faso, West Africa, has been advanced rapidly from an initial discovery from 2010, to the publication in 2012 of a maiden resource estimate for the Mankarga 5 deposit.
Channel Resources is now further increasing the value proposition for the project with planned exploration programs on newly discovered mineralized targets in the north and central regions of the permit, as well as activities to prepare the project for feasibility and development of the Mankarga 5 deposit.
- Extending soil grids and drill extensions along strike of the Mankarga 5 deposit, where Channel has already outlined a large resource.
- Drilling gold-in-soil and structural anomalies on two new major exploration targets five and ten kilometres north of the Mankarga 5 deposit.
